Two days a week (on tuesday’s and wednesday’s) Noa stays at Jessie. Jessie is , for lack of a better translation, a guest parent. Not normal daycare with dozens of kids, but at home with just a few children.

Gerrit-Jan is one of the racecar drivers who was driving at the Open Drift Championship. I noticed his car yesterday suring the training. My first car was Opel Rekord Staton wagon which has given me some fond memories.

Today I was having a blast photographing the Open Drift Championships held in Scheveningen. It was my first time shooting motorsports and I can tell you that it’s quite a challenge.
Day 44 | Snow
Snow is a fullblooded Border Colly and her full name is Snow of Shamrockfield. When I got her she was just 7 weeks old, and I still remember the drive home like it was yesterday
Day 43 | Fred
Today I was assisting my aunt Patricia Steur on a shoot in Scheveningen. I met a lot of nice people there freezing on the beach creating fantastic portraits. You can see one photo here. One of the people was Fred. Yesterday I had an idea who to photograph for the Dailyclick, but after meeting Fred and talking to him for a little bit I changed my mind.
Day 40 | Mark
Mark is one of the best surfers in Holland. At least I think so. He has this very powerful fluent style, is good on a longboard, shortboard and probably any board you put him on.

When we arrived at Evelyns house to pick up some tiles for our new bathroom I still didn’t have a clue as to who or what to shoot for today.

The guy helping us had this accent so I asked where he was from. He told me he originally was from Germany. Now how does a German surfer end up inHolland working at Hart Beach Surfshop??

One of the clients was Merel who came to rappel with her boyfriend. The first thing I noticed about her were her shoes.
Day 28 | Rosko
Rosko is one of my best friends, an amazing guy, great musician, surfer, father and all around nice guy.
Day 27 | Tute
Her real name is Els (Elisabeth) and she is the definition of growing old gracefully!
