It’s getting closer, the new years eve. So more kids playing with fireworks and blowing up things.

More snow came down today. We’re having great fun with it!

Waiting at the dentist

Saw this looking out into the garden. Almost looks like street lights coming in from the street. But it actually is the light coming from the bathroom.

Setting up the lights on location. I put the camera on self timer and I was a bit slow getting into position. Here I’m jumping over a softbox on the floor and trying to twist and land on the right spot. Did get it eventually. (Or maybe I should get an assistant….)

Driving throught the north of the country you really realise how flat Holland is.

Spend the night in Groningen with my okd classmate Kees. Kees has always been a coffee freak. He has his own professional espresso machine, a top grade coffee grinder, and now even a coffee burner (or whatever it’s called) He get’s his fairtrade coffee from all over the world, toasts it grinds it, and ofcourse [...]

Saw this while cycling. Shot it over my shoulder without really looking, trusting the camera to make a balanced exposure. It did, so I edited a bit in Lightroom

Had great fun today shooting on a white seamless background. Need some more lights though..

Had to take the van to Erik. I love his workshop (called Roll In). It’s full of these little old school tools. A lot of the times, that is the way he fixes the van too. With a sort of MacGyver style

Sorry for the sad theme the last two days, but it’s a sad time for us. When I looked down while typing yesterday’s post, I saw my tears on the table. I don’t know why but I had to make it a Dailyclick. It’s feels good writing and sharing this stuff.

There are a lot miles on those little feet. When I look at this photo I see her running, no almost flying, racing on the sand. Going so fast that the sand she throws up with her feet lands when she’s already 10 meters further. There used to be a trail of sand behind her, [...]
